This project aims to address the critical digital literacy gap and foster economic empowerment among the community, particularly targeting the youth and marginalized women. The hub will serve as a center for technology access, skill development, and entrepreneurship support, creating a space for learning, innovation, and social entrepreneurship. 04. Adopt a family initiative
Giza Systems Integration Kenya Ltd, through its CSR arm Akili Africa Foundation, implemented the "Adopt a Family" Initiative in 2020 to support 165 families in Nairobi's slums during the COVID-19 pandemic. This initiative provided essential one-month ration packs containing food and hygiene supplies, facilitated by collaborations with the Ramghariya Youth Association and Kenya Red Cross, adhering to strict government safety protocols. President Uhuru Kenyatta recognized their impactful community efforts, emphasizing their ongoing commitment to assisting vulnerable families.

05. Reflecting on the Urban Sole Project (2018)
•In 2018, Giza Systems Ltd, through its CSR arm, the Akili Africa Foundation, partnered with Parklands Arya Girls’ Secondary School on the Urban Sole Project, which aimed to create sustainable footwear from recycled materials.
•This initiative not only addressed environmental challenges by repurposing waste but also empowered the local community by utilizing locally available resources and providing hundreds of shoes to underprivileged children and families in the "Deep Sea" slum of Parklands, Nairobi.
•The project's success in diverting waste from landfills, enhancing children's lives and educational opportunities, and promoting local production exemplifies the powerful impact of corporate-community collaboration. Although the project ended in 2018, its legacy continues to inspire sustainable practices and community empowerment, with Giza Systems Ltd remaining committed to fostering innovation and sustainability worldwide.
